About Me:
My name is Monique (aka Niq), and I am the middle child. What comes to mind is a huge chip on the shoulder..and yes..that was me growing up in the shadow of my two sisters.
But, age matures us, and after a divorce (7yrs.ago) I tend to look at things a lot differently.
I have a beautiful daughter of 12 years (for this blog purpose we will call her "Princess") and now a meshed family with a step-son (NYboy) who is turning 16...our family will be growing since we are expecting sometime in March. Now...don't get me wrong...having a child at 40 scares the bejeebies out of me--but it is quite a huge blessing. The man of the house (reno-man) and I have been together for three years now. We have recently built a new home and are making our roots in Montreal.
I enjoy movie night with my kids, travelling, skiing and my job. My job keeps me extremely busy since I am a Daycare Educator in a local school.
