It's also been a summer for going loony (in more ways than one, but I digress)...Our first camping trip of the season found us out at Fish Lake and we were incredibly fortunate to have loons at the lake. One night while we were casting off the dock, a loon dove not twenty metres away and swam under water right in front of us at the dock - truly an awesome sight to see....
I have a ton of photos to go through from our adventures this summer, but there are a few that I've taken that stand out in my mind - the big sky of Alberta sure does make a pretty backdrop...once I get around to get organized (photographically speaking), I will share all of them with you, here are a few of my current faves (although I'm sure after this coming weekend, there will be plenty more) - for those that are shutterbugs like me, Mars will be very close to the moon Aug 27th at 12:30 am...get out your cameras!
When you see your child every day, in front of you, while you are totally adoring of them, alot of the time, one fails to realize how quickly they grow...I can only imagine how that must seem to Tex or the POD since they don't get to see Bear on a daily basis...
There are a lot of different blog types out there...some that are for personal improvement, some that have home ideas, some that are for cooking....we'd like to think here at Sist3rs, that we're a little bit of all of those with a few extra tossed in for good measure...
I've been listening to this one all week, and if I have to have it in my head, then you do as well!! (Is there nothing these chipmunks can't do???!!!) LOL
The Princess (Niq's daughter) came to visit us in Texas for two weeks. Unfortunately, we were under a heat advisory and weather warning for most of her visit. If you don't live in Texas, what that means is that it's even too hot to go to the pool. So, we were a little limited but I think everyone had a good time anyway!
